Anti Log Converter Schematic Circuits
Anti-log or exponential bearing is artlessly a amount of rearranging the logarithmic circuitry. The ambit diagram beneath shows the chip of the log adapted to accomplish an exponential achievement from a beeline input.
The emitter of Q2 in admeasurement to the ascribe voltage is apprenticed by amplifier A1 in affiliation with transistor Q1. The beneficiary accepted of Q2 varies exponentially with the emitter-base voltage.

Simple DPA 220 schematic
The T7 and T8 are fast, switching application types.
T9 and T10 have to be fast and must hold a high voltage, thus the best are the "video" types - BF469/470. T15 and T16 are the same types.
The C9, C10 and C15 should stand voltages higher than usual 50 V - I dont know why.
D3 to D6 can be any silicon type, not Scottky, the ones listed below are just all-purpose low-current ones for 150 V. These diodes should be rather fast - "switching types".
The T11 and T12 stabilize the BIAS current for the power stage. T11 also serves as a temperature sensor, and is mounted to the cooler of power transistors.
T13 and T14 secure the output current - in cooperation with R38 and R39.
The output transistors used here are Tesla types - Tesla is a former local devices manufacturer - the pair in each branch can be replaced with a single power darlington, like BD649/BD650. They should have Pc > 150W, Ic > 15A, Uceo > 100V.
In this case obviously the R38+R40 / R39+R41 must be connected parallel. These resistors should be able to absorb high power - at least 2 W, but Id use 5W ones.
The output filter improves stability of the amp when working with complex impedance of speakers - it is quite important. The resistors are high-power ones again, the coil is 13 turns of a 1.2 mm wire on a 8 mm thorn (diameter). R43 is placed coaxially in the coil.
The schematic also includes power supply capacitors and rectifier - the capacitors size is not crucial, generally the bigger the better. The rectifier originally consists of four silicon 10A diodes, but you can use whatever you have - rectifier bridge etc. The trafo should be a 2 * 30 V / 7 A type so that you have +/- 40 V on the power supply capacitors.
In the scheme theres also a thermistor that is supposed to be connected to some additional circuits that secure temperature and other things. The complementary input stage of DPA amps is an unmistakable heir of earlier designs published by Mr. Borbely in several issues of Volume 1984 of the Audio Amateur.

2×22W Stereo Car Audio Amplifier schematic diagram
This is a schematic diagram of stereo audio amplifier for your car. The schema is powered by a single IC TDA1553 with some external components, this IC will handle your stereo car audio system.
The TDA1553CQ is a monolithic integrated class-B output amplifier in a 13-lead plastic DIL-bent-SIL power package. It contains 2×22 W amplifiers in BTL configuration. The device is primarily developed for car radio applications.
The TDA1553CQ contains two identical amplifiers with differential input stages and can be used for bridge applications. The gain of each amplifier is fixed at 26 dB.
Special features of the device are:
· standby: low supply current (<100> 100>Loudspeaker protection
When a short-schema to ground occurs, which forces a DC voltage across the loudspeaker of >= V, a built-in protection schema becomes active and limits the DC voltage across the loudspeaker to <= v. pin 12 detects the status of the protection
Short-schema protection
If any output is short-schemaed to ground during the standby mode, it becomes impossible to switch the schema to the mute or operating condition. In this event the supply current will be limited to a few milliamps.

Circuit Dis....
IC1 is wired as a square wave generator and produces both tones of the cuckoo song. The frequency of the higher one (667Hz) is set by means of Trimmer R2. When IC2D output goes low, a further Trimmer (R22) is added to IC1 timing components via D6, and the lower tone (545Hz) is generated. To imitate closely the cuckoo song, the square wave output of IC1 is converted to a quasi-sinusoidal wave form by R3, R4, C3 and C4, then mixed with the white noise generated by Q1, R6.
Q2 has two purposes: it mixes the two incoming signals and gates the resulting tone, shaping its attack and decay behavior by means of the parts wired around its Emitter. IC4 is the audio power amplifier driving the speaker and R15 is the volume control. The various sound and pause timings for the schema are provided by the clock generator IC2A driving the decade counter IC3. Some output pins of this IC are gated by IC2C, IC2D and related components to drive appropriately the sound generator and the sound gate.
When SW1 is left open the schema operates in the free-running mode and the cuckoo song is generated continuously. When SW1 is closed, the schema generates two tones then stops, because a high state appears at the last output pin (#11) of the decade counter IC: therefore the count is inhibited by means of D1 feeding pin #13. The schema is reset by a positive pulse at pin #15 of IC3 when P1 is pressed.
Setup:
Best results will be obtained if the two tones frequencies are set precisely, i.e. 667Hz for the first tone and 545Hz for the second: in musical terms this interval is called a Minor Third. Obviously a digital frequency counter, if available, would be the best tool to setup R2 and R22, but you can use a musical instrument, e.g. a piano or guitar, tuning-up the notes accurately by ear.
- Disconnect temporarily R22 from D6 anode.
- Connect the digital frequency counter to pin 3 of IC1.
- Adjust R2 in order to read 667Hz on the display.
- Connect R22 to negative ground and adjust it to read 545Hz on the display.
- Restore R22 - D6 connection.
- Disconnect temporarily R22 from D6 anode.
- Disconnect C8 from Q2 Collector and connect it to R4, C4 and C5 junction.
- Adjust R2 in order that the tone generated by the loudspeaker is at the same pitch of the reference note generated by your musical instrument. This reference note will be the E written on the stave in the fourth space when using the treble clef.
- Connect R22 to negative ground and adjust it in order that the tone generated by the loudspeaker is at the same pitch of the reference note generated by your musical instrument. This second reference note will be the C-sharp written on the stave in the third space when using the treble clef.
- Restore R22 - D6 and C8 to Q2 Collector connections.
Notes:
- The master clock can be adjusted by means of R18.
- The percentage of hiss and sound in the mixing schema, setting the tone character, can be varied changing R8 and R7 values respectively.
- Any kind of dc voltage supply in the 12 - 15V range can be used, but please note that supply voltages below 12V will prevent operation of the white noise generator.
- An amusing application of this schema is to use a photo-resistor in place of P1, then placing the unit near the flashing lamps of your Christmas tree. A sweet cuckoo song will be heard each time the lamp chosen will illuminate.

Simple Zener Tester Schematic
With the chosen resistors in the schema the current is approximately: 1mA, 2mA, 5mA, 10mA and 20mA. Great precision is not required.
If meter is chosen here for a small DVM module. However, every other meter is applicable, provided that the input resistance is high enough.
Construction:
The schema is simple to build on a piece of PCB holes. Note that the DVM module separate from the schema galvanic isolated power supply needs.
Using
Connect the test zener diode between the terminal A and K. Start with a current of 2mA. This is a safe value for most type zener diodes. Depending on the type of zener diode, may be chosen for a greater current. Than the Zener voltage will vary slightly.
Join the zener diode on backwards, the meter will indicate approximately 0.7V. The same picture shows an ordinary silicon diode. A germanium diode, a voltage of about 0.3 V to 0.4 V indicate when a Schottky approximately 0.2 V indicates.
Connect an LED to A and K, it will be highlighted and the Vforward (LED voltage) of the LED indicate.
The diode / LED failure, the meter displays zero if the voltage at the collector of Q1 is, this is> 25V.
